Due to renovations in Lange Gasthuisstraat 13 and 15, some galleries in the Museum Mayer van den Bergh will be closed temporarily. The closure is a precautionary measure for the proper conservation and management of the collection. The temporary closure will impact the following galleries: Micheli, Aertsen and the gallery.

During the closure, two masterpieces from the Aertsen gallery, Boerengezelschap bij haard (Peasants by the Hearth) by Pieter Aertsen and Groentenverkoopster (Woman Selling Vegetables) by Joachim Beuckelaer will be on display in gallery 1 on the ground floor. The entire Micheli collection of medieval sculpture will not be on public display. You can visit the museum during the renovations at the reduced price of €6 per person.
